Applying Arctic Ceramique on videocard memory?

Im going to be water cooling my video card and i have the "iandh" heat sink. Now how would i apply the ceramique? Would i just put a dot on each of the memory that it covrs or should i put very little and spread it over the memory chip?
 
i would just put a small small dot on each memory chip and let the actual heatsink spread it out.
