So a really good friend of mine had the gfx card die in his mac pro...

he told me he took it in to get it fixed, and they charged him $615 to install a brand new nvidia 8800 gt..




okay.... WHAT THE FUCK?????????
 
This is news? Its been like that since the first video card was installed in a mac.
 
I'm sure it's an extra-special appletastic version of the card, but not really worth discussing here. It's not nice to pick on the mactarded. ;)
