I am planning to buy a new TV. Being an IT Professional it is my passion to go for advanced things. So I am thinking of buying something unique. So how is Apple TV. Above all odds what makes Apple TV different from other TVs. Is it a smart device?
 
Apple is rumored to be making an actual television, however it's not out yet.
 
You're an IT Professional and you've never tried googling what an Apple TV is or can do?
 
Buy a now, old model AppleTV, the 2nd gen model, jailbreak it with SeasonPass, slap nitoTV and XBMC Eden on there for starters, profit.
 
May have a hard time jailbreaking the ATV2 (or ATV3) now that apple seems to have stop signing all old blobs (i.e. previous firmwares)...need to wait for a non-tethered jailbreak for new firmware...
