Apple Says No Delay on Leopard?

We heard a rumor earlier this week that Apple was delaying its next generation O/S. Now we are seeing some evidence this isn’t true. Seeing as how we really haven’t seen any official comment from Apple, I’d say your guess is as good as mine.

Reports coming in that Leopard's delayed until sometime in October. Just spoke with Apple who confirmed the reports are wrong and Leopard is still scheduled to ship in this spring as they previously announced. The rumor mill is wrong again.

Seeing as how the schedule for WWDC this June is practically full of Leopard-related classes and lectures, and personally talking with a few beta-testers who got a new kernel seed about two weeks ago, I'd say that the latest time Mac OS 10.5 would be on the shelves would be the end of April or early May.
