Apple Penetrated to the Core

Fappening wasn't a "hack". It was a highly successful phishing campaign. Idiot users are idiot users

It doesn't matter because someone actually posed as an Apple employee, that is Apple's fault they created a culture of people who just accept the platform as unhackable and that something like this would never happen.

The fact someone successfully posed as an employee or as a part of their system makes it their liability, you can't claim ignorance all the time claiming "people are using it wrong" or people are stupid(whether it is true or not is redundant) as the system is made simplistic for simplistic people to use that don't know any better.

So what I am basically saying, it was a flaw on Apple's part for not protecting its userbase because they well know what and how their userbase is, Its like Leapfrog units that were hacked, you know your primary user is a child so you make it child safe, If your main body of consumers are idiots that you cater to, well then its your responsibility to make it idiot proof.

So when a Scam IRS caller nabs 2k$ from an elderly couple by your logic its their fault, news flash it isn't, If someone is posing as a federal official that is a crime it is the Governments responsibility to stop that from happening either from educating citizens or arresting the culprits. Its like the Social Security number fiasco and identity theft crap, your SS# has 1 purpose, the fact the government lets everyone and their mother to use it for other purposes makes it their fault and their sole responsibility no one can protect their number from a bank/insurance(and all those other industries) hack which renders their statement of telling you its your fault for not protecting that number obsolete.

Its about taking responsibility as an organization or government, everybody wants the money or power no one wants the responsibility that goes with it, like it or not the Sword of Damocles will still catch you if you run away from your responsibilities, I certainly don't mind setting fire to the rope, wish more people had courage, and not the remove a headphone jack non existent courage because it saves you money type.
