They would be silly not to, but you'll never know. They haven't really had a steady hand on their Mac product line since Jobs died.
The touchbar can be useful for newbies who hunt-and-peck type but if you type fast then you have your eyes on the screen and not the keyboard so in my opinion, it is pretty much useless for power-users.
No MacBook keyboard or Magic Keyboard has particularly good key feel either and are atrocious for touch-typers, so I think you would be better off with the previous generation aluminium keyboards or a third-party keyboard with good Mac-support.
