Apple HiFi isnt that bad....

... compared to the other iPod speakers out there.

I heard the HiFi today and I didnt think it was too bad.... actually, I found it to sound better than the Bose Soundock, Klipsch iGroove, or the other Logitech offerings.

It was solid sounding... decent mids and decent highs. Didnt sound too thin as did the Klipsch offering and had better mids than the Bose Soundock. The bass was pretty decent, didnt extend too low though. I thought it was good but I still thought that the price is a little high - actually, I think ALL of the iPod speakers were overpriced.

Still, I came in expecting it to sound horrible, but I was pleasantly surprised that it bested all the other iPod-dedicated speaker systems.

The HiFi is a decent product, in my opinion.

What do you guys think... those of you who have heard them?

i heard it in the store. it wasn't that bad. my sister owns a bose sounddock. i would definitally chose the hifi over the bose any day after hearing both.
