Apple Event Essentials

Agreed. I've never owned an Apple product and never will--company has never made anything interesting enough or compelling enough for me. Far too restricted in every respect, etc. Apple remains the hardware company for n00bs (since its founding--selling hardware overpriced and underpowered that only n00bs could love...;)) : nobody else could possibly be interested, imo.
I have no problem with noobs..ppl need to start somewhere. My thing with Apple is it's become synonymous with the hipster generation. Was true back then even before the whole iphone craze started and the iphone just took it to a whole new level.

Its the other way. The average user doesn't care about the spec and have no freaking idea what a 1Gb of ram means and it's totally irelavant.

all smartwatches are fail.

they all have shitty battery life, or they look like tiny smartphones.

The only gimmick samsung has is a curved screen, but otherwise it's like a 1:15 scale galaxy.

I tend to agree. Smartwatches need to have a battery life of at least a week. (Why not have a simple battery for the clock, and maybe an extra battery for the extra crap? At least then you could still see the time).

I miss when Apple was more business, server, and scientific/research oriented like in the 90's and 2000's.
68k and PowerPC, Quadra and xServe; those were the days when Apple was respectable.

Now all they care about is how trendy/hip/cool their products are.
While they are relevant, they far from respectable.

150 billion dollars in their war chest though. That's a whole different kind of respect.
