Apple Cinema Display 27"

Anyone have any experience changing the glass on one of these? From what I've found, which wasn't much, it seems that I can just pull off the old glass with suction cups or even duck tape. I just bought the display at a discount because it had a chip on the black edge around the screen, and was basically just wondering if anyone who has actually done this before could tell me if it's very easy to do. Or if I shouldn't even bother because it doesn't effect the picture.

The glass is super-easy to get off, it is held by magnets. You can use a suction cup or even pry with your fingernails at the top to get under the edge.

I run mine with no glass as it cuts down on the glare a bit.

There's more videos/information on people doing the change with the iMacs that have a very similar/same front glass. Suction cups should do the trick, be mindful of dust though I bet that'd be really annoying to get some between the screen and glass.

Exactly, it's all about imacs, and some people said "I think it should be similar for cinema display" but I couldn't find anything concrete. Thanks, and good point with the dust.
