Funny little story there

Pinch Media CEO Greg Yardley looks at it a little differently. In his view, Apple has built such an easy-to-use distribution (as well as payment processing) platform for iPhone applications that people find it very easy to move onto the next thing that catches their fancy. The lack of a "try-before-you-buy" feature means iPhone users have no choice but to take the plunge, and given that most iPhone applications are free and the ones that do cost money are very inexpensive, there's little incentive to carefully shop around for the one application that best meets your needs.

Anyone else here getting a similar vibe from most of the apps? Ive got 5 pages of apps (all free) and I dont use most of them ever after a day or two. The only ones I do use are probly Bloomberg and Solitaire, even most my games I dont use after a few days.

What do yall think?

Well, some of the truly innovative apps (well, mostly games) such as the X-Plane series never get old. Neither do some of the high-end racing games like Asphalt and Ferrari GT. Fastlane street racing is absolutely incredible. But there ARE alot of silly little apps/games that are only worth running once. The new Need For Speed Undercover release should be a bit refreshing, though.
