When i disable this fuction in bios i can achieve over 200 fsb, I have a barton 2500xp and abit nf7-s rev2.0, also i have pc3500 2x256mb corsair xms. Im tryin to get my board to run at 217x10 and it will when i have apic mode disabled but when its disabled i cant log into windows. But when its enabled i cant surpass 200 fsb. How can i get by this. Someone Please Help!

APIC can only be set before a windows installation

if you install windows with it ON, you can't run windows correctly with it OFF.

and same goes for vice versa.

also, enable APIC. it provides a performance boost, even if it holds back your FSB overclock.
