I decided to go with the Swiftech Apex ultra kit, i will be adding 2 mcw55's for the cards below.

other than the heatsinks for the cards. is there anything else that i would need to put this kit together?...what type of non-conductive fluid do u guys recommend? any extra hoses? or other pieces i might need? thanks in advance
 
I usually just reccomend good old water and anti-freeeze... it's cheaper than any con-conductive fluid out there, and if you leak test it you will be fine.

You might want to get some ramsinks for the video card memory.
 
theres no way im takin a chance with water. my luck lately + horror stories posted recently = 1 scared/cautious first time watercooler.

no extra tubing for the mcw55's? clamps?
 
Nope, prolly wont need more tube. I just got done redoing my WC setup and bought 10 feet. I have about 5 feet total left and I'm using a gpu cooler as well, plus my loop is a bit long. You should be ok, if you dont screw up, cause they send 6 feet with the kit.

If you want to get more tube, I would suggest master kleer from www.mcmaster.com, good stuff, and only lik, $0.41per foot.
 
i actually disagree with punx_clever on the tubing, it's good to have extra: even more so for a first build.

at some point, you're going to have to re-plumb things anyway, and it's not like tubing has a real "best before" date. get soem extra, and if you don't need it all, just sit on it until you or a friend does.

nothing is more aggrivating than running out of the small stuff part way through a job.

i quite agree about water and antifreeze though. it works fine, and you should be trying to avoid leakage regardless of if you are using non-conductive or not. if the knowledge that the water in your loop could cook your machine if you mess up makes you that much more cautions and methodical as you work, more's the better.
