Apache user auth / redirection.

Any one have any idea how I can setup apache to redirect to a users folder based on their authentication... Using just apache?
Like user goes to www.server.com/myfolder which has an .htaccess that requires authentication, once they authenticate that are redirected to thier folder... Meaning user Bob would go to www.server.com/Bob, etc...

What I did for this was to setup a php page that was in the same directory as the .htaccess folder. The user would login, the index.php would get called and in there I would check their username they logged in with and redirected them with PHP to the right url.
 
Aye... Was gonna do the same just with perl instead... No way to manage this just with apache eh? Bummer.
