This is a noob question I know, but before I harass out IT guys I want to see if it's something I can fix this up myself.
I installed the turnkey version of Blazeds on a WinSrv test box and I can go to command line and run tomcat to get things going just fine. I have to RDP to the box do this, but if I log out, Tomcat has to stop. Do I need to do this under the Admin account or add the run command to a BAT file so it will run headless as IIS does?

not even sure this is the right forum, but I figure some of you guys must play around with blazeds

Can you opt to disconnect from the RDP session as opposed to logging off?

Otherwise the easiest way is probably downloading/installing Apache Tomcat (as a service) and downloading the binary version of Blazeds and deploying it.

I've never used Blazeds, but if there's a way to daemonize ("service"ize) it without having to install Apache Tomcat separately, that would work. My weak googlefu skills are currently failing.

Gotcha, I'll give the binary versions a shot. Guess I'm just spoiled with apt-get to install Apache.
Thanks.
