AP1510 question

Okay, the description for the AP1510 is a tad confusing, or I'm really stupid: http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-pmp-40.html

does the pump draw power from the PSU, or does it draw power from an AC power outlet?

The pump has a step-up transformer that you connect to the PSU and it steps the voltage from the PSU from 12V to up to 24V.

ohhhhh........ it's a step-up transformer. I was wondering where that 24V was coming from...
