AOPEN first PC vendor to clone the mac-mini

it's in german, but here is the main facts:

size: 10,6 cm × 32 cm × 20 cm (in comparison to the mac-mini's tiny 5,1 cm × 16,5 cm × 16,5 cm; still tiny though IMHO).
P4M board /w possible expansions consisting of:

integrated ntel-i855GME or
1x low profile AGP (AOPEN is going to sell either of these cards for it: actively cooled cards: Aeolus FX5700LE-DV128LP, FX5500-DV128LP or any third party cards without fan available in ATI Radeon 9250/9550 or GeForce FX 5200 flavours like these ones for example)
1x low profile PCI
2x RAM sockets (not mentioned if laptop sized ones...)
PSU is external as the mac's
noise level is said to be 25 dBA max.

connectivity:
SPDIF-in / -out
4x USB-2.0
2x Firewire
1x serial
1x parallel
1x mic in
1x line-out
1x headphones
GBit-LAN
pricing: no info, yet, but released at CeBit​

...plus they even mention the ability to overclock the FSB though i think this may be rather not so good an idea
what do you guys think?



edit: and yeah, i know they are not the first. actually there has been heaps of mini PCs like cappuccino PC, hoojum nanode etc. i meant like big-style cloning from a big manufacturer

Looks a lot bigger than the mini, at least in that pic.

I'd love to see how fast I could overclock one before it melted into a puddle of plastic.

it's like a shuttle (the small ones - i think the new nf4-based ones are bigger) that is only half as high, i think. correct me if i'm wrong though. would've been cooler if they had flipped it 90° IMHO.
