AOE III Problems

Well I went out a bought two games AOE III and Fear. I've been having alot of fun with both games on singleplayer. But it seems when I go to play on the Lan with my son with AOE III the problems start. We have started 5 lan games with 3 to 8 player maps. We have only finished 2 games out of the five though. I have had a OUT OF SYNC Error 1 time and CTD 2 times. I do not seem to have any problems in sigleplayer however. On the 2 systems we are playing on the spec's are very close. (See sig) Both have Win Xp Pro w/sp2, up dated drivers as of today. though as I am the server it seems like the problem is coming from my computer.?. Anyone else playing online or Lan games without problems? I did patch both games with the new patch as well. Just seems strange..

Well it seems that Age Of Empire III didn't like the new 81.85 Video drivers on my system. I changed to some tweaked 81.85 ver. that I found on Guru3d and now it seems to run fine... *shrug*
