AoC buddy key wanted

are buddy keys working yet? i've been very interested in tryin the game, but not sure if i want to go buy the full version.
 
ditto. I've been playing WoW since beta and find myself wanting to play AoC but don't want to buy the game just yet.
 
Here is the latest on the buddy keys. This was posted today.

Greetings,

We will not open the Buddy keys until we have sufficient server capacity. Most likely we will open this in stages, starting with the 555,000 buddy keys found in the Collector's Edition. There will be no separation between US and Euro keys, so they will open at the same time.

We are currently evaluating our server capacity, and guests will be able to start playing in the not too distant future. As soon as we are ready we will notify everyone directly via email (the one you have registered the game with), as well as via forums and community sites.

The buddy keys can eventually be claimed via your account pages

I'm pretty sure I read before that they will give out buddy keys once the first month of paying customers roll in.
 
Once their available and someone would like to share. Id like a key also. TIA
 
I'm sure they're BSing about the capicity stuff, they just want the most people to actually go out and buy the game as possible before they release those buddy keys and trials out.

The longer people can't try the game, the more likely they will give in and buy it.

yeah, that'll probably be me. I really shouldnt start another MMO, but will probably succumb and give it a shot. Hopefully it has no lasting appeal. :p

AoC isn't like other MMO's it seems. I have alot of fun playing it to the point where I want to play 5-6 hours a night. However, I play more like 1-2 a night and I enjoy it. You can get stuff done in conan in <1 hour. That's why I like it. I just started an alt in it too, the melee system is pretty fun.
