Fake indeed.
Don't expect anything of good/extraordinary performance from AOC - did they even offer anything else than cheap CRTs and TN based LCD monitors ?!
But it gets the job done at a fair price.

wow, looks like that guy in digitalversus didn't know the difference between WLED and OLED!! (and the news article is from 2.5 years ago)

and the specs listed in the smarthouse article can't be true for an OLED screen. 5 ms and 160 degrees? that's just a TN
