Argh, I guess I put a password on it when I reformatted. Is there a way to recover this password? A certain file?

You may just have to clear the CMOS and then reset your BIOS options.

As long as it's just the setup password for the BIOS, cleaing CMOS will work.
If you have a laptop and you password protected the HDD...you're fux0r'd

RTFM ;)

There's a jumper you will have to change. Either that or pull out the CMOS battery for a couple minutes.

Do you know the brand/model for your mainboard? If so, we could tell you exactly. Otherwise, just look for a jumper close to the battery (most likely, but could be anywhere) it should be labled something along the lines of clear/reset cmos. You should move it to the designated spot and then move it back to where it was originally.

Oh, and most laptops have a dip switch under the keyboard or down by the ram. They almost never use a jumper. I'm assuming you don't have a laptop.

If you do have a laptop, you can download that CMOSKILL.iso, im not sure where to download it, just google. I have it and it makes a bootable image that clears your cmos on boot. Very nifty.

the CMOS clear jumper will be the lowest numbered jumper, most usually, so either Jumper 00 or Jumper 01

A lot of times it'll be red or yellow, instead of black like the rest.
