I just got a new 19" widescreen lcd for my computer, and I was wondering if there are any graphics cards that can make it hd quality for when I watch dvds. Also wondering about which graphics cards will improve the quality of the movies, because most graphics cards seem to be targeted at gamers. Thanks...Cuddy.

When you say "improve quality," post processing is the only thing that can improve visual quality, and all of that is done via the CPU. When it comes to improving performance in terms of stuttering and CPU usage, you can buy an nVidia card that uses the PureVideo HD technology. Apparently, it works, but I can't tell either other way. Umm, there is nothing that can really "up convert" on the computer from what I have heard. As far as I am concerned, nothing is available that can do what you are asking.
