Hi,

I'm building a PC for Christmas and I've being scoping the P150, like many others have mentioned the colors aren't as good as they could be. But I've also heard that it looks better IRL than it does in review pics (white background).

That's while I'd really appreciate it if an owner of this case could post some pics of it, when it's turned on preferably.

Thanks!

i dont hav one but ive seen one in person and boy does it look nice....its got a nice sturdy build and the thing is juss soo simple and clean, i love it but i wish they had it in black

BAH!! Every other computer is black or silver. I for one love the white. It's going to match my Samsung 970P quite nicely. =D

I'll have mine in about 5 days. If this thread is still around, I'll post my impressions here.

sweet tell us about it

I got my P150 today, it looks really nice! One dissapointment was the lack of fan only cords on the PSU even though the case does ship with an Antec TriCool fan where you can change the speed, I would've liked it to spin slower when there's less load.
I haven't put anything in it yet though cause I haven't got all my parts.

What exactly do "fan only" psu cords do? Why would they be different than any other 4-pin connector?

Mine is shipping right now, but UPS is slow. =/ It's taking them 6 days to get it to me.

I also ordered Vantec Stealth fans for the case: 1 120mm and 2 92mm.

they volt mod the fans to 7v afaik

Hmmm... but wouldn't volting the fan to 5v or 7v effectively lower the rpm's?

Sorry for the hijack. I'll post my impressions of the P150 to make up for it. =)

i really want one, actually... i might just get myself another "early christmas present"

cuase the lower voltage that is going through the fan, the slower its gonna spin. all fan contollers are effectivly doing is lowering the voltage being fed to the fan.

it would seem odd if it were 7v... they would need a whole circuit dedicated to that. 5v makes much more sense.

yes and the whole point of it is to cool your system and components with little noise as possible

Hmmm... but wouldn't fan speed (and acceptable noise level) be better decided by a fan controller? Or even by the type fan installed in the case?

It seems like a dedicated fan lead off of the psu would be denying you the option of running the fan at it's full speed.

I'm getting Vantec Stealth fans for the P150, which are already a low rpm fan. I'd hate to nerf it's cooling potential even more by volt modding it.

no the whole point of the fan only connectors are if u hav loud fans and you would lik them to run at a lower speed but still hav them capable of cooling your system at a lower noise level and theres a temp probe in the power supply so that if your power supply temps go up, the fans' rpm go up.....and you DO NOT have to use the fan only connectors, they are optional, you can juss hook your vantec stealth fans to the regular 4pin molex.....and as a warning, DO NOT buy the 120mm vantec stealth fan as that fan is not quiet as the 80 and 92mm versions
