Anyone using an Extension on the 4pin CPU plug?

I just bought a PCP&C 750, however the 4pin CPU power plug is 6 inches short and wont reach my motherboard. PCP&C sent me a 12inch extension for it (FREAKING AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE) however, my question is this: Is there going to be any side effects from using this extension like loss of amps, instability, etc...... Does anyone else end up having to use an extension for this plug?

you should be OK, no noticeable difference in any of the stuff you mentioned. I am gonna do some research and make sure I am right ( or wrong )

It'll be fine. The added resistance is negligible. There is some data on it in one of the stickies.
