Anyone using a Q6600 with XP Pro ??

Just curious if anyone here has the QuadCore Q-6600 or any eXtreme quad cpu but using WinXP Pro and how does it work with that OS ??

Should run fine since XP counts actual sockets, you can have as many cores as you want.

So a QuadCore will actually get used in XP Pro if a App/Game is designed for multicores ??

Cool I just know the 2x2gb of DDR2 will get limited though to like 3.5gigs ??

Give or take if you're pulling XP 32, but Vista 32 would do the same. For some reason they forgot to fix the extended addressing.
