Hi there, I have been searching forums high and low throughout the internet to see if anyone is using the new AMD Radeon 7970 with good 'ol Flight Simulator X? Yes, an older, CPU dependent program but maybe you still use it once in awhile?

If you do could you take a look at a few things for me:

1) Do you get any tearing or is verticle sync holding up?
2) Do you get any "shimmering" on autogen trees or autogen buildings?
3) Do you get a moire effect when looking out in fast stretches of water?
4) Of course I have to ask how are FPS, not worried though. Are you using Eyefinity.

Never could eliminate these completely with my 6970 even with tweaks (so I am using a 580 right now), but I am hoping with the new card comes new drivers and maybe improve these issues. Ready to pop two of these into my "cockpit".

I never had any of those problem on my CF of 6950 running on 3 screen, althought I am running FSX acceleration with PMDG 737
