anyone used Skype??

I did some review searching. nothing too solid out there.

I just discovered skype while i was looking at VOIP options such as vonage. and I am not lucking having more hardware on my desk. lol

So.. How well does this skype work? Is it reliable.. anyone here tried it?
Basicly ALL calls I make are cross country. Since my fiance is a fair distance away and I'm in school as is she. I live in dorms. have little room so It's not like i need a cordless. But voice mail and my own number would be nice.

Anyway. options. opinions. thoughts?
