Anyone used Aquaero 5 XT controller?

Has anyone bought one of these or the pro model? Seems like a solid unit but would like to see if anyone on here has owned them and what they think before i spend this much on one.

AquaComputer makes some very nice and very expensive stuff. Their past aquaeros were pretty good.

I absolutely LOVE mine. But a lot of its usefulness will be dependent upon what all you have hooked up to it.
What I have hooked to mine is the Aquastream Ultra Pump, an aquabus, Aquaero Flow Meter and all my case and rad fans as well as using the 4 temp sensors. Since they are all (except fans) made by AquaComputer, they all see each other and the Aquaero 5 automatically identifies them and integrates all of them into the Aquaero 5 seamlessly. It is a beautiful thing.
But, if you are not going to be using a lot of the AquaComputer accessories, and you are just going to be using it as a temp monitor and fan controller, I would probably advise you to save a BUNCH of money and just buy something else to do that with. On the other hand, if you are wanting something that can integrate a crapload of sys monitoring info into one place, this is an AWESOME product.
As a side note, the best place in the states to buy the AquaComputer stuff from is Performance PCs. They have most of their line at fantastic prices with some of the fastest shipping you have ever seen.

My intended use is setting up my fans in zones and have it dynamically control them.
Temperature monitoring in zones for fan controlling.
Water pump control(Likely a Swiftech)
Water flow meter.

I will check and see about Performance PCs. I thought i saw something a while back that turned me off to them.

There's a 40+ page thread dedicated for the Aquaero 5 on the first page of Xtremesystems Liquid Cooling section if you want to pour through many owners' impressions. For the most part, people seem to be happy with it IIRC. $150 - $200 is a lot of money, so this would certainly be a long term investment for many people.

Yeah, I really like my Aquaero 4 w/ Power Booster. It controlled my Laing DDC and all my case/rad fans. It's the VFD variant, which means you can change the colors of the display to whatever shade you like using photo gels.
