Anyone use GAIM?

Im having troubling logging on to my AIM account from GAIM. It keeps saying my password or username is incorrect but I use AOL here at home on my parents PC. The username and password are the same as I have in my AIM account. I use it from Redhat but cannot use it from windows.... Any help?

if you're trying to use it literally RIGHT now the aim network, atleast for me, seems to experiencing 'technical difficulties.'
but yeah, i use Gaim on both the family windows box and my linux box.

Whatever I guess I'll download trillian and see how that goes..... AIM advetisement bar sucks major ass. It streams video and audio advertisements soo gay.

i use gaim and i couldn't connect for about 20mins, but its working now.

My parents have an AOL account and my screen name for AIM is the same for AOL. I didnt know if this have kind of conflict with GAIM.

I would be using gaim, but there is no native port to my OS
