Was looking for a new case and I think I will get this one. It fits up to Standard ATX boards (no need to get a new m-ATX motherboard) and would probably blend in well with other A/V equipment. Holds a decent amount of drives and looks like it has pretty good cooling for its size. Low speed fans and rubber grommets for the hard drives. Plus it comes with single fan TruePower 380 ps.

Anyone see something similar that is better?

I have one and I don't use it. I gave Antec a few tries and I've been disappointed each and everytime with their cases. I went back to my Coolermaster and Lian Li cases. My biggest gripe with it, besides being very heavy, was that it was difficult to work on. I wasn't really thrilled with the cooling placement and felt that air would have trouble flowing through the case.

It looks like it has an exhaust on the power supply and on the right side of the case. Is there an intake somewhere? I can't see it on the pictures on Antec's site.

I don't mind the weight. I am in decent shape and even if I weren't, a computer case isn't that heavy. Plus it will be sitting in the same spot 99.8% of the time.

As for it being difficult to work on. I assume it it will be kind of tight in there but once everything is installed, it will probably remain that way. I'm not the type that opens up and changes something in the case on a daily basis

I have one, there's plenty of pros/cons to it

biggest pro to me was the PSU

the biggest con is cooling, which wasn't so bad after I cut an intake fan hole directly above the cpu, I would definately use a vga silencer type cooler in mine but it only has an mx440 in it.

one thing I really did not like is that you can't recess your optical drives at all which pretty much spoiled my stealth drive plans

if I had to do it again, I probably wouldn't buy another, there are much better looking HTPC cases out there, with better airflow

which one would you recommend that uses Standard ATX motherboards?

The weight is a problem for me because I have a glass shelf component rack in my living room...I didn't feel confident in that amount of weight on it.

If it is something designed for A/V components, isn't it using tempered glass? Those things are made to handle the weight of receivers (and possible more stacked on top/under) which should weigh as much if not even more than most steel cased computers.

This thing weighed over three times what my Onkyo receiver weighs. It's also near the top, because I didn't feel like moving everything around. I went back to using my Shuttle and couldn't be happier. It does have tempered glass in it, though.

If it is tempered you don't have to worry about it. There are lots of receivers that weigh over 30 lbs. Your Onkyo is extremely light at 4lbs (Antec lists the Overture's weight as 12.6 lbs)

I have an issue with Antec's 'Piano Black' finish.
It looks great out of the box, but isn't long before it gets scratched. No matter how careful you are.
Go for anodised aluminium. More durable.
