My local Costco has these new at $269. 24" 1080P screen with 2ms refresh times and 170 degree viewing angle.

Viewing angle was noticeably better than the 23" Samsung it was sitting next to and it seemed to have rich vibrant colors without any noticeable splotching.

It has both a DVI and HDMI input and apparently both are HDCP compliant. This monitor was initially shown just a few weeks ago at CES and apparently Costco got the first batch?

Does anyone have any input on this yet (purchased it, etc)?

I'm debating between this and the Samsung 2343BWX... also considering going with the 28" HannsG 1080P display as it's down to $369.

My primary uses are regular desktop stuff with some light photoshop work and gaming thrown in. I currently have the Samsung 226BW and it's a mixed bag. Resolution isn't high enough for my taste and I don't feel that color accuracy is very good at all.

Inputs are welcome.

Wow, that's an even better deal than I had anticipated, thanks!

I'm really interested in this as well. I just ordered a BenQ v2400W and it is $140 more so if this is just as good I'll pocket the difference.

i just got mine from costco today. i'm going to clean up my desk and take some shots of my 37" westy that i will be selling later tonight. i will take some pictures of the viewsonic 2433s backlighting and screen colors when i do that as well.

so far i am very very happy with my purchase. i checked the backlight at night with all the lights off and the screen set to black fullscreen and i couldnt really discern any backlight bleed.
i guess it could have been a slightly lighter black around the edges than the center of the screen but really that might just have been my eyes fooling me. i didnt see even a hint of the hideous blue leaking light that i saw from the samsung 2253lw i got from costco last year, which i returned.

zero dead/stuck pixels. i have either been really lucky in my monitor ordering or i'm amazingly bad at finding dead pixels. i have ordered about 6-7 lcds from costco over the last 3-4 years and have never gotten one with a dead/stuck pixel. yay me! and i search for dead pixels on my new monitor purchases pretty long and hard.

ps. does anyone know if its possible to turn off the blue power led in the bottom center of the screen? i looked everywhere in the osd menu but couldnt find anything. perhaps if i install the drivers on the cd or something there might be a software option?

i havent yet had a chance to test the panel speed in gaming yet, been busy with work.
i will try some counter strike and call of duty 4 when i wake up at 6pm tonight.

the only bummer is that costco ran out of their stock of the viewsonic 2433's, i hope they get in some more and offer them at the same 219.99 i bought it for. i really want to get a second one of these and hook it up to an ebay arm to replace my 37" westy.

Awesome, can't wait for the pics. I'm heading over to costco later today. Hopefully they still have some stock left.
