SAGoons has a user called ITAP_RCAC that is currently outproducing anonymous (and everyone else for that matter). From the goons forum:

ITAP_RCAC is goon vax750 (Information Technology At Purdue / Rosen Center for Advanced Computing). He runs folding jobs for SAGoons on their cluster (with permission from his boss) when there's spare capacity. He also has a cron job that shows how many jobs are in the queue at any given time:

This folder might be a sub-team like eastms.edu for all we know. Either way, extremely impressive! WTF (both meanings), ITAP_RCAC! :eek: :cool:

 
Not sure just how many people are involved, but the explanation given at SA would explain the sporadic output in the past. But either way, he/she/they are doing in a day and a half what it took me 3 years to do.

Nahh..., please no explosives or any other harmful equipment, we're not trying to seriously harm or kill any of those people at Purdue. In the long run they're doing just like us and millions of others, folding for the cause and tryin' to find a cure for some !@#$%^ diseases. :D

Like you said (alan2308) in you're very good post in the begining, we only want to borrow that "bad boy" for a couple of weeks. But when you think about it team #33 (us) is already the #1 champ in the pernts department and we don't want to discourage our competitors too much because then they might completely give up. (man, like I've said before, it's really hard to be humble when you're folding with the #1 best team on the "Net". ;)

I'm not exactly what you'd call a "peacenik", but I'll reserve any harmful intentions I have toward my enemies and hope I'm right (and not some "dumb"mistake on my part). We try to never harm or kill any of our own troops, friends or supporters. That's what "collateral damage" means to me and that's why I can't stand the !@#$%^ people that hold innocents hostage in a military conflict. (like some of the @#$%^! "radical" Muslims do in that IMO "big mistake" called the "Iraq war") :p

Edit" OBTW I know we are all just joking here (well maybe not about borrowing Purdue's fantastic "cruncher" and everything we've posted is to be taken on the light side. :eek:

WTF :eek: I don't think being against killing innocent people is "political", but then I might be wrong, we can really depend on our politicians to make the best decisions (Viet Nam, Iraq are just two examples of those "political" decisions)

Hey brotherman, I apologise for "over reacting", it just "gripes my butt" when I hear, even the smallest reference, about hurting people. It just seems to me that some individuals think "war" is the answer to every problem of human discord :rolleyes:

With that said. I hope you accept my apology and I have a problem of over reacting sometimes. :( FOLD ON to the max :D

Edit: Hey alan2308 I love that thing about not harming any innocent computers. I think that scenario belongs right up there with "child abuse, domestic violence, treason and murder. :p

Those SA goons are a strange bunch - check out their forum if you have some time to waste. I went there when I saw that outragous ppd on the overall top ten list 'bout a month or so ago. make us seem like almost, well, normal....
