I thought it was gonna be crap and i tried the demo and was surprised by how fun it was.

I bought a copy this weekend and its pretty addictive. If anyone wants to play together you can add me as a friend in game, my name is Syntaxx on their as well. :D

bump!

are any of you other [H] people playing this? The demo is awesome but I can't tell if it would have real lasting appeal beyond a week or two.

how versatile can your decks get? how many creatures are there? can you get good cards without dumping alot of money on points? etc...

fill me in...I'm very intrigued by it...

Hmm, seen it before but I just dont like the fact you have to buy cards to keep playing.. heh.

well...thats what I'm also curious of. It seems like you get a good selection of cards with the retail purchase. about 150 ...the deck can only contain 20 - so it seems like you wouldnt need too many more to keep having fun. you can always trade and sell privately in game for specific cards too from what theyve said.

but I'm hoping an actual player or two can confirm or deny how critical cards are.

I'm sure eventually theyll screw you into buying new cards withan "expansion" or something...but thats sort of standard fare to spend more on a game for new content now.

I'm sure it can be done cheaper than an MMO if nothing else...

the demo is fun as all hell though - but I dont know if it has any lasting effect....i cant keep waiting for SC2 anymore though :( haha.

In PVE, its not critical to buy cards if you only plan on playing Standard mode, for advanced you can prob beat around 1/2 of them with the free deck, on expert, I wouldn't even consider it.

In PVP, it is extremely critical that you buy some cards. (don't needa spend too much $15 should be sufficient)

I might check this out today. Kinda reminds me of Magic the Gathering which I was into way back.
