Anyone play Dawn of war?

I was looking for a site with some tactics and strategy, I just picked up the game. I know I know, there is COH. I will prolly get that too in the future .

Btw, I suggest watching a few replays as they help a ton.

As dj said, replays are a great learning tool for builds and strategy.

DoW Sanctuary has a whole bunch of good quality replays. I'd give that a shot.

Have you ever played the tabletop original? The DOW is very similar how they pull their paper-rock-scissors.

Unfortuantly, as with most RTS, once you get a solid build order down the range of play becomes moot.

Similarly to DJ_2004's comment - watch replays. Play a few sessions against multiple AI then watch how they build and expand.

As for WC3 with guns - hehehehe.. I am going to bet you HAVENT played the tabletop game. Warcraft was BASED off Warhammer (not 40k from DOW). I thought about piecing together a SpaceHulk game, but that was a bit too much indepth for me, and I am still bitter about purchasing that deadend game.

that is until we get the Necrons in the expansion and Tau, this game should get almost as interesting as the tabletop
