Anyone own a high end computer work chair?

[tzhu07]

I'm not sure this is the right category, but does anyone use a high end computer work chair? I'm thinking about investing in one since I use my computer much more than the average person, especially since my job is doing web development work.

At work my employer provides us with the Herman Miller Aeron chairs, and they seems to be really good. Any others that I could try out, and also WHERE would I try them out? Most retail shops don't carry such things.

This is what I'm using currently at home. The cloth is really uncomfortable during the summer, and the ergonomics are decent at most.

Look up Herman Miller's list of dealers near you where you can try them out. I have only experienced owning the Aeron and Mirra chairs. There is also the Pixel chair by Herman Miller. Also there are Steel Case chairs competitor chairs (the ones your see Walt Mosberg on D shows, that red one he and interviewed guest sit on). Aeron comes in 3 sizes, look up the website to determine your size.

I've got an allsteel #19. It was ~$950 w/my fabric choice, but it's got a lifetime guarantee and it's the only chair my back can live with so far.
