Anyone on here have any experiences with the w32.welchia.b.worm virus?

A friend of mine got this on her PC and Norton reconizes the virus and says it is unable to remove it. I checked their site and they have a removal tool for it but when I run it it says it does not find this virus. I tried to manually remove it as per their instructions and still cannot find it. I have also updated norton with lastest updates. Help Please :(
