Anyone know phOkaz?

his heat seems high, and it does state he was in a accident recently. but a few weeks is more then enough time imho :/
 
Guess I should mention. Hope nobody will be mad at me for this.

billyevans' thread is also about that dude. I may still have his number in my PMs, which billyevans gave me, but I doubt it. I can say that it was disconnected the two times I called. "BOOP BOOP BEEP The person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time" said the telephone robot lady when I dialed his number.

Best bet is to assume that his motorcycle accident did something doctors can't fix, at least until you hear otherwise. I really hate to say it, and I really hope he's OK and just can't communicate right now, but... well, hope for the best and plan for the worst, ya know? :( :( :(

You don't always get the emails. I know I have it turned on and never get the emails.
 
Pretty sure he's dead (hope not) or something, no joke. His number is disconnected, and he didn't respond to the Paypal claim I filed, so I got my money back.
 
if anyone has his real full name run it through google/google news and see if accident report/article shows up? Might mention his final disposition (recovering/deceased)
 
I did some googling based on his zip (billyevans had sent me his name, zip code, and phone #) and I *think* I know where he lives, and his name isn't in the obits yet... or I have the wrong city. If someone wants to PM me the correct city, I'll do the rest.

This is more likely the case then him being dead I'm sure but hope hes not. Possibly he could have decided he wanted to keep the stuff and the money. Its likely rare with his heat and all but its not impossible. Sure ppl have done it.

Typically when things turn from bad to worse, people just say screw it and stop trying. I've seen quite a few good traders get themselves into a bad spot only to walk away and leave everyone hanging.

If he was to the point of no money, he may have lost his internet access along with his phone being disconnected so he may not even be able to fulfill transactions. One can only hope he'll make everything right when the time presents itself.

He is not in great shape but he is going to live thank god.

Going through all that I can see that a pending trade or two is simply not on this guy's (or his family's) radar. I mean as in don't know about/completely forgotten about in light of going through all this. Hoping he gets well and takes care of his trades.

could be possible. I got a 8 year old diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a year ago and having to manage that everyday I have often wondered to myself several times if there is anything I need to ship, have forgotten to ship or pay for.
 
Wow, I sure hope he is okay!!! I have had 3 or 4 workings with him and he was always prompt to ship and everything was great. Super transactions!
I have to believe that something is very wrong as I can't believe he would ditch anyone. He was on the forums almost every day when I was working with him. It has been about 4 months since I dealt with him and can't for the life of me remember what town/city he lived in. I know it wasn't terribly far from me in Cheyenne Wyoming though. Maybe Rapid City SD?

I can totally understand that, but his "wife" posted about his accident in March. OP linked a FS thread by phOkaz from earlier this month, so it would seem he was back in action.
 
@stinger608: phOkaz's profile says Utah. It's not more specific than that.

Again, if anyone wants to PM me the actual city he lives in (billyevans, would you have that info?) I'll look into newspapers and such, see if he's gotten obituaried. (Good heavens, I hope not...)

Yea I hear ya Hawk. Hmm, I have to guess with his recent bad luck he has lost his internet and has no way of checking things here and getting shipping addresses.

I saw that, but that was months? ago I believe. I would hope that if things were still amiss, his wife would be checking in on his messages or at least the phone wouldn't be cut off. Either way, I hope he is ok and everything pans out for everyone.

Sounds like a job for ZabaSrearch. I'm willing to cjip in $20 towards buying a premiun account for a mod that we can all use as required. LOL. Me, I buy the $5 4 pack that you gotta use in 30 days. After I check the one I need I find out if old girlfriends and relatives have died or gotten into trouble.
 
IDK but I filed a claim and got a refund. Paypal said they was able to recover the money so don't know if it was sitting in his account or what. Hope hes okay though.
