so you are looking for just three external 5.25" bays?

Or two external drive bays?

I am thinking of getting on of the SFF towers from Soldam. Spendy and a half though.

Like this one---> http://www.soldam.com/case/altium/s6/detail_05.html

But, right now, they are redesigning the website, so they have taken everything down from the shopping portal. So I can't order one until the site is done.

that's exactly what i am looking for! thx!

are there any others like that? (good ventilation, etc)

edit: it doesn't matter how many 5 1/2 bays ( i am pretty sure most are at least one. 2,3 or more would be the best)

You can always search around Newegg and specify mATX - Mini Tower or Mid Tower on the search properties. Some ATX mini towers slip by, but there are mATX mini towers there even smaller than the one linked above.

I think this one is pretty sexy (or at least better looking than most others on the list): http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-124-108&depa=1

What he said.

Also, you want a mATX form factor case, but you say it would be best to have more than 3 5.25"bays? I don't know if you will find that. Having 4 5.25" bays is just an ATX Mid-Tower.

Air flow is good on this one-->http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-163-018&depa=1
