Anyone know anything about this pump?

I have one here. They are nice little pumps.

About the same pressure head as an Eheim 1250, and the same peak flow as an Eheim 1048, and about as quiet as an Eheim 1048.

Perhaps it's the most desirable pump for those looking for an upgrade from their Aquastreams. ;)

The pumps haven't been out long enough to guage overall long-term reliability, but the design of the pump itself should lend itself to a pretty long service life and I haven't heard of any failures being reported on-line in the ~4 months that they've been about and about.

In short, a really excellent moderately powered pump that is near silent.

yea, that pump is pretty quiet. You can probably use two if you want more pressure.

Yup, an excellent pump. I have one in my loop and love it. Dead silent, and very small, can be put anywhere. Not as powerful as a D5 or such, but for the price it is quite the deal.

Ok.I have another question Im using the water block that comes with the evercool wc-202 for my cpu and vid card.Do you know of any companys that make 6800 brackets to fit on their vid card waterblocks that I could be able to use with some easy modding?

If I understand you correctly, your are asking if the wc-202 vid card block will fit on a 6800 ultra? I think it does with stock mounting bracket.

I had that system as my first foray into water cooling, and, believe me, those blocks suck big time. Simply put they are beyond restrictive and poorly made. The blocks are actually made from copper, for the base, and get this, aluminum is used for the channels that the water flows through. They solder the aluminum to the copper base. It is a piss poor way of doing things. Corrosion is basically guarenteed. My vid card block corroded so bad water would no longer flow through it. And that was after only four months, and yes I had plenty of corrosion inhibitor in my loop.

Sounds like you are trying to "upgrade" the Evercool system. Do yourself a favor, ditch the whole thing and start from scratch. You will eventually anyway...

Yea,I want to,but I'm straped for money.I'm only 14 and I have to get 250-350 dollars for quake con.So I'm pretty much drained for cash.

Well, you pay now or pay later. :) And later if corrosion takes hold you might end up paying a hell of a lot more. But we all understand the need for cash.

will that work with a normal system? it's for that crappy Zalman reserator thing, so I dunno how well it will perform. To each his own.

I would save up a few hundred though, and buy your own system.

Are you using an anti-collosive additive in your loop? That should help. Zerex and MCT (both from DD, Zerex comes in much more manageable bottles, for a standalone puchase I would buy Zerex).

So in the mean time should I put some anti freeze into the system to help fight the corrosion?

I hope these pumps are better than CSP's old 750's. I had to return 3 for RMA because they would just cut out on me after about a months of use. By the 3rd one, they refused to RMA it for me saying there was something wrong with my Loop. Well I replaced that pump with a Swiftech MCP-650 and it's been going strong for 3 months now. Go figure.

i have the c-systems pump ( i ordered mine direct) i am running 3 loops 1 for the cpu, one for the gpu and chipset, then the last one for the hdds if i get around to it.

the pumps are small and have good flow . i would not expect them to power 3 block and still get good flow but when there running on just one or 2 blocks that are not super restrictive there great. + there silent and no noise is good.

Do you think the corrosion could get so bad that water would leak through the block?Like a hole would come through the block?you got me scared now.I added some anti freeze that my mom uses in her caddy to my system.I used a syringe(it takes about 8 of these to fill my watercooling with distilled water,so i used one load for the anti freeze, that enough?)

I'm going to be cleaning my water cooling soon and I want to know what you guys flush it with.Do you guys use vinegar, salt water, chemicals,or just straight distilled water(i was thinking vinegar would be good since it could help to destroy the bacteria, but maybe it might be bad).Open to suggestions.

Yah - these pumps are like night'n'day in comparison to the old 750's. The 750's just did everything wrong for a water-cooling pump. The new MAG's do (almost) everything right.

I'm sorry for all the noob questions, but you guys got me worried. When you talk about corrosion do you mean like the blocks getting to where holes start forming in the block?Or just to where the block has build up from all the metals inside and they clog up the block and deform.

Don't worry about it. You will be ok.
