Anyone here ever use Amazon to trade in old phones?

I've never used it, but depending on the phone you might get more $ by selling it to another private party (Forums, Craigslist, etc). There's a reason all of these companies have jumped on the trade-in bandwagon, big profits!
 
I did it with my iPhone 3g. I don't recall it being an especially long process. No longer than trading in any other items (video games, books, etc.) for the most part.
 
Thanks , it was signed for on Friday but I am guessing it will take a couple days.
 
I sent in a flawless iPhone4, and they emailed me back saying sorry we cant give you like new condition, will you accept $xxx for acceptable condition (which was like a 1/3 of the price). I had them send it back to me, and i walked into a bestbuy, and got $5 more than the amazon like new condition.

I do a very large part of all my shopping on Amazon, they lost out on the change to make a profit on my phone, and me using that credit with them. Ended up spending the $200 of bestbuy credit at the store.
