Here is my 1am mindless issue:

I have a window applique. I don't use window appliques. I need to apply this applique. I have NO instuctions. Okay, one side is white the other is translucent. I am sure I peel the white side off to apply (this reveals sticky side). QUESTION IS: Do I put it on the inside or outside? It is UV reactive....

O please help me at 1am...

i'm (officially anyway) on EST. i'm playing the fedex tracking game right now. (still losing:( it isn't here yet)

is it an applique with words on it, so it only goes one way? that's the only real way i'd figure it out:p never done the applique thing (on a case) i'd think it would last longer on the inside, but it may look better on the outside. hold it up without taking off the backing, see which looks cooler:D

make sure you use something like a ruler to get all the bubbles out.

good luck!

It is a symmetric Autobot Logo (Transformers). I cannot figure out what side is 'best'. I may just go ahead and put it on the inside, but i need a [H]ard Answer....

I put mine on the inside. Less chance of it getting scratched.

def on the inside, some acrylic is uv resistant, meaning uv cant get through making the light inactive on the other side of teh acrylic, also less chance of it getting scratched.

inside eh? its a uv reactive applique...im sure that matters (where i put it)...im looking for a modmaster who has done a UV applique b4

thx

I just put an autobot applique on my case the other day. I'd reccommend putting it on the inside. When it's on the inside it almost looks like etched glass. It looks really cool. I'm putting a decepticons logo on the other side tonight (i have an acrylic case). The instructions were a little complicated, (if i wrote em from memory I'd probably forget something and screw you up) so I'll post them when i get home from work tonight.

put it on the inside

dont just slap it on, do it slowly to make sure theres no bubbles... like mentioned above, use a ruler... or run your finger back and forth on it to push it down

IF you do have bubbles, i guess your best shot is to pop it by using a SMALL needle... make a TINY hole and squeeze the air out of that hole

Visit Shattered Web and check their instructions. The most important thing, and the one nobody else has mentioned, is using a little water to help apply it.
