Anyone have this problem?

So I'm playing a game for few hours and all of a sudden the whole entire screen gets garbled... It doesn't lock up or anything...

I alt-tab out of the game and my desktop is all corrupted too...

So I push my window key and put it on standby mode and turn it back out of standby... The screen looks fine and I can even play the game again that I alt-tabbed out of...

I'm using Cat 6.6..... A x800 GTO card....

Lot of times the textures pop out too...

Is the card defective?

It's definitely not heat...

This card does 550/570 most of time I set it @ 520/540 except for doom engine based games since Doom hates overclocked cards....

I play the game @ default 400/490... Exact same thing... It doesn't happen often...

Only saw it in titan quest...

Texture popping happens and perhaps it's because of heat... I don't know...

But the whole desktop corruption and than put it on standby and it behaves normally after that? Maybe it's my drivers...

seems like uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them cured it...

the connect3d x800 gto with the r423 core and the sapphire x800 gto2 with the r480 cores unlocked, thats why i asked

Cat 6.6's were really buggy for me. Never could get benches to run uncorrupted so i went back to the 6.3s till the 6.7's came out. Try your drivers.
