Picked up a 256gb mydigitalssd NVMe for my MIL's new laptop that came with a spinner back in June. Boots up in 7 seconds to a Windows 10 desktop, everything is super snappy.
For comparison, I stupidly picked up a 500gb 970 evo NVMe drive for my system, as I felt my Sata 850 evo was getting long in the tooth. Booting windows, running programs, playing games - it's 100% identical. The only place it performs better is in large file transfers (over 10gbit fiber) and in benchmarks.
