Anyone got ASUS Xonar Xense here?

hmm...dunno...i just ordered the Asus Essence ST...hope this one isn't too much better... =)
 
No worries. The two models focus on different users. Xonar Xense focuses on gaming users while Xonar Essence ST/STX on audiophiles. Especially, Xonar Xense might be bundled by a headset which might be more expensive than Essence ST.
 
You'll probably find that the Xense is aimed at audiophiles and gamers. I can imagine it's basically a gaming version of the Essence, with a lot of work done on headphone power, and "gaming effects"
 
The EAX, Dolby and virtual surround implementation on the STX is a joke for gaming. I can see them needing a whole new model to cater to this.

That being said, I absolutely love my STX.
 
The VR zone info is not a review....they got some shots from Cebit like others of a static model. At this point in time, nobody outside of the companies involved have tested out the card.

If you are interested in the Xense, I would wait and readup on the reviews and info from end users.
 
Wow....I assume the post from VR zone is the review after first tasting this card. No wonder I can't find the other reviews of Xonar Xense from others. Thanks for your info.
 
I heared from a reliable media saying that xonar xense will be released just after Compuex, is it the truth?
 
According to asus press released in computex, this bundle product will be available in late June or early July.
