I remember the Q6600 had a few great S-spec lots - could do 3.2 easily. Am wondering if any 3770k owners have noticed any good S-spec or batch numbers? or is it just LOTD with all Ivies? I got any Ivy 3770k for a build I have put together for my step-son, A Costa Rica assembled chip, first one I've seen myself in Melbourne, all previous Intel chips and I've seen a few, were all Malay, most were crap overclokaz, except my 2700k, which overclocks like a.....2700k!!
Anyways, I'm doing this a bit 'old fashioned' in that I am burning my proccy in slowly, I'm up to 4400mhz using 1.200, temps are low but then I'm in an unheated room, in Melbourne, where it's cold and wainy, room temp about, mmmm, let me see...about 'fkn freezing' degrees C....
Back OT, my S-spec is SR0PL and it's batch 3246C255 - chip was made in CR last year, week 46, C stepping blah, blah...
So if anyone has noticed or know of any good batch/Sspec numbers, would like to hear about what peeps have noticed..
