I ran Video Memory Stress Test on my 7900gtx and it found a lot of errors does this mean bad video ram? Is there any way to fix it?

There probably was a reason why you did a video card memory test in the first place ... dots / lines on screen? weird artifacts? etc. etc. This is because of bad memory or its been overclocked too high. Most of the time you can tell a card with bad memory straight away without running tests.

If you get errors with the test but find you have no other problems (like in games etc.), the card may not be using the memory that is bad and count yourself very lucky that you don't 'have to' buy a new card. If its under warranty, I'd look at swapping it if its not too much trouble.

I've run the Video Memory Stress Test on my 'known good' video cards and they all pass Ok.

Oh, and by the way, we had a whole batch of faulty 7900GT cards (20+) that we had to swap under warranty because of poor quality VRM's on the card which produced results that seemed like bad memory. Either way, they should be replaced.

Do a google search, its fairly common with that series.

Yep that's what I have dots / lines on the screen

and in crysis the tree branches on the ground was blue and green. Is there anything I can do about it or will it keep getting worse? It's a leadtek. Thanks
