Video should speak for itself. Corsair GS800 PSU and the rig in my sig. Used 12.1, 12.2, and the default drivers that Windows 7 found... HDMI or DVI connection both give that blue tint, or sometimes a pink tint. Clean install of windows. Currently running same system with a 8800 GTS w/o this problem.

Need more information.

What operating system? Windows 7 32bit or 64bit?

Have you plugged any other monitors into it?

Is the blue tint always there as in when watching videos and game play
as well or just while on the desktop?

Windows 7 64-bit

Yes, different monitors, same result

Yes, tint is there in games, video, etc. Did a monitor factor settings recall, still same.
 
Yup, that's what I thought as well. Just purchased it from a forum member, so I am not too happy about it.
 
Probably what the guy said above me but just out of curiosity did you you use different monitor cables when testing the different monitors?

Also did you consider drivers for your monitor, the monitor color profiles, or the AMD/ATI control panel color calibrations?

Under your circumstances I would consider all these.

What card did you have in the machine before the 6970?

Yup, two different cables.

Have drivers installed for the monitor, reset the color profiles, didn't do the color calibrations.

Had a 8800 GTS in the system before, and now, but re-installed Win 7 when I got the 6970, so this happened with fresh install. When I was able to boot into safe mode, when I could, it seemed fine. But I couldn't boot into safe mode most of the time, as the screen would just go black.

Negative ghost rider, the pattern is full.

That didn't fix it, actually when I switched to 16 bit color I got a garbled desktop. Completely garbled. Thanks for suggestion, but looking more and more like RMA.
