hope this is the right place to post this:

I placed an order 3 days ago. Got the order confirm email, and it said I will get another when the order ships.. I haven't received anything yet.

I also called them the day I placed the order to see if I could get something else added.. They didn't answer - I left a message.

Never called back.

I tried calling again like 6 times, never any answer.

I just called again and told them I was a little dissappointed with my 'first impression' of their company, and hope they can contact me.

Waiting a call back.

Anyone have any luck with them?

search a couple pages back, i started a thread about the same thing, about 3 pages of replies followed

ur order's probably out the door, theyre shipping department is slow to respond and their support dept is non existent.

i ordered mine on tuesday, received a conf email on thursday, got the goods on saturday.
i had emailed them on thursday, received an email reply on sunday, called 5 times, no answer at any time.

so yeh.... im not ordering from there again.

edit: btw, my shipment was heading to CT as well, enfield to be exact.

Well, I've never had a problem with them, and I've ordered from them a few times.

Check out resellerratings.com and see if others have/had the same problem as you have.

I ordered during a black firday sale (so I ordered on a friday afternoon), got it next tuesday. SO I was happy with my experiense (sp?).

Well, they have a 8.8 rating on Reseller. If you look at their charts though, over the last 6 months, "Overall shipping Process" satisfaction has slowly gotten worst.

I would look into trying ot get an email to the owner or something and see what he has to say.

LOT of people on Reseller with the same problem as you.

The EGG RULZ!!

crap, I wish I would of checked other places before ordering. Now I have $100 worth of stuff and I don't know when I'll get it.

They charged my CC right away though! Nice!

I'm going to send a few emails.

I would of used NewEgg but they didn't have the heatsink or fan controller that I wanted.

Never had a problem with Xoxide. They are slow in informing you that they shipped your order though.

I use www.newegg.com for the most part but you right, specialty items are sometimes hard to find. Several websites I use though when Newegg is out or don't have something that are awesome and never ever had a problem with.

www.sidewindercomputers.com Rated a 10 @ http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1982.html
www.plycon.com Rated a 10 @ http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1998.html
www.monarchcomputer.com Rated a 9.73 @ http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2079.html
www.excaliberpc.com Rated a 9.35 @ http://www.resellerratings.com/seller4153.html
www.googlegear.com (now called ZipZoomFly) Rated a 9.16 @ http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1991.html
www.1coolpc.com Rated a 9.92 @ http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2014.html
www.compusa.com I only use this to see if they have something I need right now since the store isn't far from home.

Most of these have multiple awards from Reseller ratings. Several with all 3 awards.

Looks like Xoxide needs to get better organized. Either that or something is happening and they are slipping and just getting worst.

You forgot www.mwave.com , www.essencompu.com , and www.performance-pcs.com .

I go on their forums and if I'm not mistaken, I think they recently moved into a bigger warehouse and they are trying to get things flowing again.

I also heard that if you ordered a case from them, they don't carry the cases. They get in touch with the case manufacturer and from there, they send out the case.

OMG they suck so bad. I just got a confirmation email that my item shipped at 5pm EST TODAY. That's 4 days after I placed the order, and it JUST got shipped.

They will not receive one cent of mine, and unless you guys want to wait three weeks and have ABSOLUTELY no customer service at all, (three emails, and three messages unanswered), I suggest not ordering from them.

Avoid Xoxide like the plague. They have a long way to go but their starting down the path OCZ began years back. Avoid OCZ like the plague as well. Having OCZ memory in your computer means "I enjoy getting ripped off and supporting criminal companies!"

so does having an ati product, but i dont see anyone bitching about that

in case you dont know what im talking about, the case last year about high ranking ati employees being involved in insider trading

in any case, ocz has picked up their act, their stuff works like its supposed to now, and their tech support is top notch.

First off, what happened to ATI happened to 80% of all companies. Second, if you think OCZ cleaned up their act, your a fool for buying their marketing bullshit. Countless online sites and magazines (with integrity) say their memory doesn't even run stable at it's rated speeds. Most reviews that have given it positive marks have admitted to accepting payments for doing so. Read the web news a little from time to time, and if your an nivestor, you should be looking into these things. OCZ is a bullshit, money hungry company bent on getting your money any way possible. People should grow a backbone and stand up to companies like this.

im not in investor, i wish i had the money, but i dont
so 80% of all companies get involved in insider trading eh? so that makes 80% of the business a crap hole run by a bunch of thieves.
true, some people were paid off, yet others werent, and some good results were still reported.
dont limit your horizons, try the product before you knock it.

So, because 80% of companies do something, that automatically makes it alright and legal?

80% is high and a number not based on fact.

Just because someone else does something, it doesn't justify the action and make it right.

Insider trading is insider trading and is illegal even if 99% of the companies do it. People who break the laws are criminals. It doesn't matter if it's robbing the bank or robbing the investors or the company.

No shit sherlock...I am referring to the fact that what the ATI guys did was extremely minor. No investors really lost anything and the company wasn't really hurt either. I don't need a high and mighty, holier than thou lecture.

OCZ just got busted for lying about it's thermal coupound. They claimed 99% micronized silver, it actually had NONE. OCZ is still shit. They still have issues with their memory too (read some of the reviews, a good deal had issues with store bought off the shelf parts).

Oh, and there's the whole Nvidia driver cheating issue, so if you think they're any different, you're WAY wrong.

The biggest problem on these forums is when someone starts talking about this stuff, there are a lot of comments by people who don't know. I am not going to make a conjecture about your age...I'm not that ignorant. But, I've been in corporate America for 8 years now, from when I was 17 until now at 25. I've been with very small companies, to very large companies. Ones of various fields. One thing that is always constant is the big wigs of any company do what they want, when they want, how they want, and select who they want to cover it up. I'd probably be guessing low if I said there has been some form of insider trading going on at 80% of the public companies. Whether it be minor or major, it happens all the time. It's the I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine disease.

i dont doubt that insider trading is a problem
my original comment was that everyone overlooked the ati fiasco because theyre pumping out great products.
no one rags on ati anymore because they got their drivers together... sort of. no one rags on ati anymore because they now hold the biggest share in the enthusiast video card market, et all.

everyone rags on ocz because of past events, and its not likely that theyll ever stop.
and about the thermal compound, they claim they didnt know because they dont manufacture it in-house. so now they have a contract with the makers of AS, and they handled the situation pretty profesionally in my opinion.

in any case, to each his own, im not here to tell people what they should think, but neither should others.

They're most "criminal" offenses were in the past. However, the massive buying off of reviewers has been extremely recent. I take that kind of thing seriously. None of us have the money to buy every single product and test it ourselves, so we rely on impartial review sites. Kyle is one of the few people that makes it a point of standing up to companies and posting shady dealings. When you start altering your review for some cash, your tossing integrity out the window, and undermining the entire point of running a site. It's also screwing with each and every one of us who buys hardware.

Honestly, it sickens me that consumers look past this and buy their products. It's a big freakin deal. And by purchasing their products, your telling them it's okay to buy off reviewers. That's a tredn that will have disasterous results in the future.

Yeah, they claimed that when the website finally went PUBLIC after getting a lab certified test to back them up. They admitted it when it got to the point that they could be SUED.

I have NO trust in OCZ, and most people here rightfully feel the same. They lied, again, and when they got caught they ducked behind paperwork. And that's not even going into the crap with buying off the reviewers or the different parts for reviewers vs what they really sell.

OCZ still makes shit. No one gets on ATi because they make good products. If OCZ seriously got around to that and didn't have a 30% failure rate (approx), then we might change our minds. Heck, most of use changed our minds about EMACHINES, for christs sake (read mobile computing, M6805). OCZ has done NOTHING to clean up their act.

I ordered from them last sunday, got my item wednesday. I was absolutely stunned. great condition, perfectly working order!

They are great.

i ordered some fans and PSU on 2/22/04 and i still havent receive my items nor my order confirmation!

I always had problems with xoxide!!! broken cases, broken PSU, broken fans, etc, etc....

this would be my last time ordering from them!

I've never ordered from Xoxide, but decided not to a couple months ago for some other reasons I can't remember. Anyway, for the stuff that they sell, Sidewinder Rules!!!

i have ordered from xoxide over 30 times in the last year. they have great products and great service. in order to get in touch with them you have to call WITHIN their open hours, kids. and their online support 'chat live' is also great and always works for me. my orders ranged from 10$ to 200$ and every time they were shipped out within 3 days and arrived on time.

BTW: some guy has the record high AMD FX speed and bench with OCZ memory, and hes not being paid. Im not saying OCZ is good, or that ide buy OCZ....just saying.
