Anyone ever get a NV4DSP.dll error?

Hi all,

I am kind of a newb so sorry if this is an obvious question.

I have a new system - 3500, BFG 6800 GT, XP with all the updates, newest nvda drivers.

I keep getting the blue screen of death with the error nv4dsp.dll.

Any idea as to how to solve this?

I had this problem and it was a result of an improper installation of the CPU/Heatsink. I would just redo that and see if it works. The other option is that your drivers are screwed up and do a clean install.
