anyone else use ceramique?

I've tried AS5 and AS ceramique and find the ceramique just as good, if not better to use. It doesnt conduct at all, so if you make a small mistake anywhere its not going to mess up your system, it cools pretty much the same as AS5 and its easier to clean up too. I dont see much mention of it here, anyone else use it?

I find it works great when you first apply it but after a few weeks temps would climb. I started at 39* idle and 3 weeks later its at 45*. Kind of makes me concerned because I sold my friend a 9800 Pro --> XT with a Silencer and I used ceramique on it. (Wonder if he's getting any artifacts)
 
I have use ceramique, still use it on my vid card and any proc's without ihs's.

I'm not too impressed with AS5 compared to ASC. I think i will just buy ASC after i finish my AS5 tube.
 
I use it, works pretty well for me. That easy cleanup's a big help too, you just use regular soap and water instead of isopropyl alcohol that isn't too easy to come by.
 
I use it almost exclusively now. Tried the blue runny stuff (forget the name) and didn't like it. The ceramique doesn't separate like silicon based products will over time. The only problem with it is that if you have applied it right it has the tendancy to rip the processor right out of the socket with the heatsink.

My temps actually went down with ceramique, well after I let it heat up pretty good first. I water cool and had to shut of the pump to get the ceramique hot enough to even out between the processor heat spreader and the water block. Been stead ever since (about 2 months now).
 
well, i guess me buying the 22-gram tube for a science fair project would constitute me using it... i still use it too. i like it. easy to use:D

heck, i don't even bother meticulously spreading the paste out prior to attaching the heatsink anymore! i just put on a blob and strap that sucker on. (well, bolt. but the idea is the same) works fine for me.
 
I love the stuff! Bought a tube while down in texas at frys and will never use artic silver again. Mostly cause I always seem to get a lil bit somewhere and panic that i'm gonna fry my rig
 
Good to see all these other users :) I just follow the guide on the website and put a small blob in the centre of the heatspreader and clamp my HS down; it makes a nice circle thats even and ive not had any temp issues from doing it that way.
 
You guys think the Ceramique is better then AS5?? Maybe i should try it on my next upgrade. I've been using AS5 on my 3.0c.
 
when i switched form asc to as5 (right when it came out) i saw no differnce. Even after letting it settle for a week.

At most you're talking like .5C if even that much. AS5 is also more viscous and harder to clean.
