Anyone else notice EVG's progress over the last couple of days? They have been putting some stang on their production. I wonder from what?

we have the folding madness contest going right now. anytime a contest is running we always have a bump up in dailey production.
 
Not to mention its the first of the month, and EVGA folks are getting their usual monthly points requirements in.

Mostly this. I don't know how that evga bucks system works, but it always gets a ~100 folders to start running again.

Go to EoC's weekly view for that team. Every peak you see is @ the beginning of the month.
 
We need more 4p boxes to catch up. Wonder what it would cost to borrow a data center for a few weeks:p
 
EVGAs March Madness contest is going on.

They always get a bump this month.
 
Even with that going one we are still out producing them which is quite impressive.
 
It's a combo of march madness and typical early evga points. Since you don't know it can look odd, but it's been going on for a few years now. Pretty much, they have a system where you fold x number of points, you get y number of "bucks" that you can use to buy stuff from them. When they started it it, along with tens of thousands from other promos, gave them enough members and steam to roll us over. I'm not sure whether they still do all those huge promos now that they passed us but they still run the bucks promo to keep people folding for them

So yea, it's normal, no worries, its just sad because it's the first time in a while evga has outperformed us and If were going to get our number one spot back then we need to steadily out run them, even on promo times
 
Plus they have like 350 plus more 6k plus'ers than we have. We need more members, huge producers and small ones alike
